First Nations Art and Modern Decor Mix in a Northwest Coastal Condo

Contemporary first-nations art dealer Douglas Reynolds of the Douglas Reynolds Gallery is a very busy man. Besides running his gallery and decorating two homes, Reynolds, who lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, is hosting a television show this Summer on the topic of Northwest coastal design, called Modern Edge. His current home, a condo filled with incredible artwork and gorgeous modern case goods and accents, seems like a great feature for the show.

Reynolds approached the condo with a clean slate furniture-wise — his old condo was bought by a seller who also wanted almost all of Reynolds's furniture. This created an unexpected opportunity, as Reynolds was then able to design the look of his new condo around his impressive art collection. Head over to Houzz to tour the entire, beautiful condo, with information about the art and decor placed throughout its square footage.
