Currently showcased on buses all over San Francisco, the ads proclaim “Choose Your Wood Responsibly” or “Be Proud of Your Wood” and show a line of men apparently naked behind a large piece of wood. The ads are bringing attention to San Francisco's new eco-friendly building supply store, Ecohaus, which also has locations in Portland and Seattle.In a press release, company CEO Rik Tokuno said, "The playful double-entendre of these ads engages a broad audience. [I]t suggests the importance of responsible forestry practices and makes the idea stick in their minds. This is the most talked-about awareness-building exercise the company has launched since it was founded in 1992."
