Get the Look: Eclipse-Inspired T-Shirt Blanket

High school tees, Greek life shirts, gym rat tanks, and other sentimental fabrics have a way of overstaying their welcome in some dresser drawers. When the stains and holes are too much to bear or your age has outgrown the maturity level of your well-loved rags, it's time to consider retiring the old threads. To some that may mean donating or cutting up for cleaning purposes, but to others, like Twilight's Bella, it could mean a comfy quilt.

In The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Bella's mom presents her with a homemade quilt capturing all of their traveling adventures. While her dream catcher may keep her sleeping mind at ease, the meaningful blanket provides the teen vampire queen with both emotional and physical comfort. If you don't have the time or desire to DIY, you can get the look with this T-Shirt Memory Blanket ($95). Now if only you could convince Edward to cuddle up with you, too.

I love these! I wasn't in a sorority, and don't have a lot of school or concert t-shirts. I keep joking that I will make one out of t-shirts from ex-boyfriends, but it's just a joke. I don't have enough of those either!

I can see making a blanket like this, can't see buying one with faux memories attached.

So cute, I need to do this. My friends have been making these out of our old sorority shirts, but I got rid of so many I don't think I would have enough. I just love the idea!!

I made a t-shirt blanket last year out of all my old college t-shirts. It's my favorite blanket in the entire house. I backed it with fleece in the schools colors (purple) and liquid stitched the name in yellow. It was a hit with all my college girlfriends too.
