Long before Kelly Wearstler and Miles Redd, there was William T. Georgis. Known for his over-the-top interiors and knack for creating spaces around clients' art collections, Georgis's signature is his sophisticated layering and ability to add what he calls "a bit of magic." With the release of his first book, Make it Fabulous: The Architecture and Designs of William T. Georgis ($50), the world is finally going to get a good look at 16 of the projects that have made Georgis an insider's interior designer. Below, a few photos from our favorite projects.Modern meets traditional in this great room in a client's home near Big Sky, MT. An ebonized-oak library featuring Carlo Bugatti chairs, a black rabbit rug, and a Damien Hirst medicine cabinet. A Jack Pierson word sculpture hangs over a 19th-century Venetian bed. A stainless steel wall in this Park Avenue apartment houses a bar and a desk. This American Hospital of Paris 2003 International Designer Showhouse bedroom has a mirrored ceiling, black moire walls, and paintings by Otto Zitko.
