Earlier this week, I went on a guided tour of San Francisco's new H.D. Buttercup furniture store. The 35,000 square foot store in the SOMA district encourages a "choose your own adventure" philosophy when it comes to home decorating and design, offering styles ranging from midcentury modern to French country, with almost everything in between. I have to say that I was sorely tempted to buy dozens of pieces while touring the space. Since the store's so lovingly styled, I also picked up some great decorating ideas, which I'm eager to share with you.
