Pigeontail Papervore Paper Shredder Coffee Table

Cool Idea: Shredder Turned Coffee Table

Here's a post from CasaSugar Community member c4rolin3 from the Su Casa group:

Ok surely this Pigeontail Papervore Shredder Coffee Table has to be one of the more inventive types of coffee tables?! Who would have thought that your scraps of paper could be an interesting design piece.

I'm not sure of the capacity or how many sheets you can shred at a time, but to me this is fabulous! I love perspex furniture anyway, and though the hand turning mechanism to shred the paper may be a little hard work, I think it adds to the charm. Rather than hide an ugly shredder in the corner, the idea that a shredder can have an added function and also an element of design is amazing! Also rather than have bags and bags piled up of paper waiting to be collected for recycling, you just scoop it out the day before. Plus there's a stylish way to work on your bingo wings. There's a video and everything online. It's not just a hamster's dream! What do you think!?

Have you found any other great décor finds? Be sure post photos and tales in the Design Finds group!

Mm, odd, yet I don't hate it either.

This is an interesting idea, and I actually think it would be cute in the right setting. But for now, I'll skip it. One day I might just put this in an office :P It's odd and kind of cool all at once.

Interesting idea but I think I would rather just hide my shredder in an office!
