Pure Green Magazine Launches Print Subscriptions

Pure Green Magazine Launches Print Subscriptions!

There's something about being able to flip through the pages of a favorite magazine, especially when it has the feel of a coffee table worthy design book. At the end of November, Pure Green magazine is extending this simple pleasure to readers with a beautifully bound, glossy, print edition!

Keep reading for all of the details on Pure Green magazine's switch to print format.

Staying true to its namesake, the new print version will use vegetable based inks from a FSC and Ecologo certified print shop and 100% post-consumer recycled paper. Print subscriptions will be released each quarter, and even promise new columns!

There are no plans to ditch the well-received online edition, but Pure Green magazine hopes to become more accessible to a wider demographic. "I'm most excited to be reaching a new audience that still prefers print - our research has shown that while many read online and enjoy it very much, there still seems to be a strong desire to possess, display, keep and refer back to print magazines," says Pure Green magazine's Editor in Chief, Celine MacKay. Celine counts Canadian House and Home as one of her favorite shelter publications and credits it as her initial introduction to the world of design magazines. Still, she is inspired by the momentum of fellow indie print publications like Uppercase, Inventory, and Anthology.

To find out more information about how to get a copy of the new Pure Green in your hand, check out the magazine's subscription page. You'll notice that you have the option of subscribing for a year or simply purchasing a single copy.

I love print magazines, too! and I'm so happy to see Pure Green go to print While it may not seem green at first, by making smart choices like the vegetable based inks and 100% post-consumer recycled paper they can keep their eco conscience pretty clean. :)
