Quatrefoil is an ornamental design with four rounded lobes or leaves, resembling a flower or four-leaf clover, which has been used in architectural stonework throughout history. Thanks in much part to French jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels' Alhambra collection, the motif has become quite a coveted and trendy one. But around the necks of the proseperous isn't the only place you'll find it: quatrefoil has made its way onto vibrant modern throw pillows, pastoral wooden side tables, rustic mirrors, and quaint dinnerware. One of my favorite designs is the John Rosselli Baltic Lantern ($630), an elegant, gilded light fixture that's just begging to be hung in my foyer. The Maharam Quatrefoil Pillow ($150) would also make a lovely addition to my living room sofa. Shop the rest of the décor by clicking on each of the product images!
