Most people don't immediately associate the words "eco home" with modern chicness, but after touring Lisa Ling and Dr. Paul Song's Santa Monica, CA, home, perhaps they'll start to. The home is the first energy-neutral residence in the city of Santa Monica — essentially meaning that the home produces as much energy as it uses. It's also LEED Platinum certified, the highest environmental rating a home can be awarded.
You may recognize Ling for her work as a correspondent on The Oprah Winfrey Show and a contributor to CNN's Planet in Peril, among many other television journalism feature positions. Ling's husband is a radiation oncologist in Los Angeles and president of Cytotech Labs, which does cancer research. CelebStyle editor Melody Nazarian attended an open house at Ling and Song's amazing home and reported back to us on the space. Keep clicking to take the tour and see why eco-chic luxury is all the rage.
