If you've ever watched The City, you're probably familiar with Kelly Cutrone, the founder of fashion PR firm People's Revolution. Well, Bravo decided to give Kelly her own reality TV show, Kell on Earth, which premieres tonight at 10 p.m. EST. I was watching a preview video of the show, where Kelly said, "My house is white and pink. Who ever thought that I lived in a white and pink house?" and I immediately ran scurrying to get a sneak preview of her house. Well, here it is! Considering that she works in the design industry, I wasn't surprised to find that she has a very hip home, but the pink was unexpected, because she has such a tough exterior. I've got more photos to show you of her house so
Kelly's apartment, which she shares with her daughter Ava, is in the same building as the People's Revolution office. So she says, "Because I live and work in the same space I literally go right from work right into being a mom."
In her kitchen she has a set of Baroque white chairs with pink velvet upholstery, which are totaly girly, and I love! Everything else seems all white, which I'm sure creates a nice, calm escape from her hectic days at work.
Here's an overview of her apartment. She has white leather upholstery and some glass pieces that are all pretty modern in style. From the ceiling, it looks like she and her daughter have hung Martha Stewart's tissue paper pom-poms in pinks and green, which adds a softer edge to her streamlined furniture.
Ava has a white Baroque wooden bed which has a really chic NYC vibe with white brick walls. Her three shelves displaying photos turned an awkward wall into a useful one.
I love this highboy dresser in Ava's room. It looks vintage or antique. It's definitely smart to invest in grown-up pieces for your kids.
This is a little dark, but I love Kelly's salon-style arrangement of artwork in her hallway!
