Located on Hollywood Boulevard, the Roosevelt is one of LA's most iconic hotels. If the name is ringing a bell, it might be because it's one of those places that pops up all the time as a place to spot stars. Turns out, it has a long history as a celeb magnet — not only was it the the location of the first Academy Awards in 1929, but both Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable called it home at one point. The hotel was built in a glamorous Spanish style, remnants of which can still be seen despite a major renovation in 2005. Take a look inside to see how old and new Hollywood meet at the Roosevelt Hotel!
