The era of elite artwork is over, as yet another source of affordable art arrives online. Joining the ranks of 20x200 and the just-launched Working Proof, Urban Outfitters hops into the hipster art world with Print Shop.
A joint outing with Society6, an international artists community, this online store features more than 100 designs that you can have turned into an art print ($25 to $55, depending on size), a laptop skin ($30), or an adornment for your iPod ($15). The offerings are incredibly extensive, ranging from graffiti-inspired artwork to illustrations, photography, and typography-focused prints.
Choose from the twee Who Doesn't Like Kittens?, a Warhol-esque Call Marilyn giclee print, or this dreamy Today We Escape piece that calls to mind childhood beach vacations. The selection promises to be ever-changing: Urban says it will be constantly curating its favorites to find new works. I've curated my favorites, too, so check them out after the jump.
