What Is Your Most-Coveted Outdoor Home Upgrade?

Whether you rent or own, have done a full renovation or none at all, there's got to be one thing you wish you could improve about your home. For the green thumbs, maybe a garden would be a nice upgrade. For the aquatic types, a swimming pool or hot tub. And the crafters, a work shed. I voted patio, but would also love a nice landscaped yard and a hot tub. :)

I live in a duplex with a decent sized yard, but since I rent I dont want to do anything major.. it's my parents house that I want to redo. They sit on an acre lot with tons of backyard space! Perfect for a pool and an outdoor kitchen and patio area... In texas, these are a must!!

We live in apartment now, but I know the one thing my husband desparately wants when we buy a house is a front porch.

I picked swimming pool because I wouldn't live in a house that didn't have one. We don't want to live in a house again, though. I like high-rise living best. Right now I live in a townhouse and the only thing outside that I'd be spending $ on is patio furniture for our atrium and maybe a new car for in the garage. ;)

I live in a townhouse right now, but someday when we own a house, there WILL be a swimming pool. I didn't have one as a kid and I love to swim, love the water. It's a must for me. I also MUST have a porch, I always had one growing up. A farmer's porch preferably in the front and a large deck in the back for entertaining and summer barbecues.

I guess my only option would be a porch since I'm an apartment dweller! I would love to BBQ!
