What You're Wanting: The Living Room

What You're Wanting: The Living Room

I'm not sure about you, but my wish list for home furnishings is getting pretty long these days. If I were to line up all of my bookmarked items starting here in San Francisco, I estimate I could make it to Los Angeles and back — not kidding. It comes with the job territory, I suppose. That's consumerism for you, huh? But, enough about me. I want to know what home furnishings are on your wish list. To give you greedy gals a limit, I'm going to start with just the living room. I'd like you to hunt all of the things you covet for your living room, be it furniture, accessories, lighting, etc. Add them to your ShopStyle Living stylebook, and create a look tagged with the phrase living room wants. Private message me if you have any questions. I'll return next week to show you my favorite looks from this little challenge. To give you some inspiration, here's the look I created for this assignment:

I think the city is Paris? Looks to me like Montmartre in the background and the city's iconic red chimneys sticking out from the rooftops.

I love the Winged Back chair!!! Since your post on the chair that was given a second chance a week or so back, I've been wondering how much time and money goes into the art of reupholstering furniture. Alot of the larger pieces (chairs and sofas) could actually be found at your local thrift store and given a new life...without the $THOUSANDS price tag...but of course that depends on the reuphol cost. PS: What city is that in the background of the picture...it's beautiful!!!
