Would You Carve a Political Pumpkin?

MSN currently has a few downloadable stencils for creating your very own presidential (or vice presidential) pumpkins. While the designs are cheeky, and carving your very own Obama/McCain jack-o'-lantern is just another way to show your support, a part of me feels like maybe we should lay off of the politics for the light-hearted, child-oriented evening. Then again, I'm sure we all find certain politicians pretty scary!Source

A couple years back I saw a Republican elephant. It was adorable. Now if it had been a donkey - :barf:

Holloween is supposed to be all about the kiddie. I don't think I would. Now if I saw one at an adult party this time of year then fine. But around the children, um, no. Kids don't care to see that sort of stuff.

I don't think I'd want either of these just sitting on my front steps, but it could be fun at a party with a crowd that would appreciate the humor.

If you're of the Obama persuasion: http://yeswecarve.com/ I'll be carving mine next week!

Hmmm.... no way, a pumpkin itself sitting on a porch can be begging to be smashed, let alone a political one. Though it might be fun to make one on my own and have the pleasure of smashing it myself.

We're not really pumpkin carvers to begin with, haha. But I wouldn't do it. I'm fine with my nice Obama/Biden yard sign.
