Would You Dare to Use This? The TwoDaLoo Toilet

Yes, it's Love Shack month here at Casa, and yes, I'm all for communication, openness, and intimacy in a relationship, but this is taking it a little too far. The TwoDaLoo is billed as the world's first toilet that two people can use at the exact same time. According to the site it "brings couples closer together and conserves our water supply all with one flush." What would it take to install this in your home?

I'm usually very open minded in these polls, but this is too much. I'm super pee-shy so there is no way I could ever use it. It reminds me of the stalls in one of the bathrooms at Pike Place Market. Even when you sat, the door only came up to your shoulders. It was the most awkward situation of my life.

The bathroom is often the only place I can get a little privacy so NO!

I've been with the same man for 10 years, and I think there's a reason- there are some things that should be kept private for the sake of sensuality later!!!I would not be able to feel quite so sexy if my husband had just 'gazed in my eyes' as I took a dump! Ew!

Maybe if you paid me. I gues I'd pee on it if I needed but that's it.

this would have been great in our last apartment, which had one bathroom and inevitably one of us would go and the other would than have to go too. In our new house though, we have 3 bathrooms so it's not much of an issue anymore but I still dig this idea. When you gotta go you gotta go sometimes!

I see your point Matdredalia. However, I have to agree with emalove. I like my privacy. It would just be too weird for me.

I think the most skeevy thing about this is that you would be facing eachother! How funky! And not good funky.

Yes, I would. But before everyone thinks I'm insane....it's not because I want to sit and chit chat while we're on the toilet. It's that we live in a house with VERY limited space and one bathroom, and it absolutely sucks bouncing up and down waiting to go when he's on the toilet. This would make things, I would think, slightly simpler since it looks like it would take less space than trying to install another room for another toilet and whatnot. And besides...we're married. We're in the bathroom with eachother talking half the time anyways. It's a normal bodily function, what's the big deal?

This is just like a parody ad on Saturday Night Live many years ago, for the Love Toilet! And also: No.

Maybe if you paid me a lot of money.. but this is really weird. I wouldn't want my boyfriend sitting right next to me while I was going to the bathroom, that's sort of weird.

I have nightmares about stuff like this.. well, more so in public restrooms than in private residences, but still.

well, we only have one bathroom in our apt and sometimes there's urgent knocking on the door...might solve these issues. hahahaha

That was the first thing I thought of too, Daisie!! And now I can't get Phil Hart's voiceover out of my head. Add me to the old group.
