The 3 Things You Must Agree to Before Being Cast on Fixer Upper

Would You Like to Live Here?

Lit by a series of multi-colored lanterns, this large living space is divided into several separate areas, and furnished with painted salvaged chairs, a velvet sofa upholstered with mismatched cushions, and a bed covered with a variety of pillows in slightly dissimilar hues. To say that it's colorful would be a drastic understatement. I'd live there in a second, would you?

I love the architecture of the room. I think if you took down the lanterns and added some more white it wouldn't be as overwhelming. I'd live there in the summer.

Not really feeling that place at all.... I like color, but this room isn't coming together. Maybe it's better in the evening with the lantern lights turned on? And even then, I wouldn't like to LIVE there... but it would be good for a party maybe?

I would! That couch looks comfy. Although .... I think during the winter those colors maybe too vibrant for me o_O but I'd deal with it

I love color, but this is a little much for me...I like the space, but I'd need to tone it down a bit.

It's a little too much for me, but that space is really cool and the sofa rocks.

It would be cute for a beach house, but never in my home. That would get on my nerves. Not to mention people would think that I let my 8 year old do the decorating.

I love this room, and I particularly loved seeing it on the online Marie-Claire Maison.

I love the lines and ceiling of room, but those colors remind me of the game candyland

I really like the sofa a lot, the colour juxtaposed with classic shape is great...and I like the table. But the lanterns ruin it for me, it would make me feel closed in, and I think (for me anyway) part of the pleasure in living in those sort of open industrial spaces would be the lofty ceilings. I much rather see them opened up than brought down with all the "stuff". On a more realistic note, all those lanterns would also be a pain to dust. But yeah, lose all the lanterns, keep the disco ball and let the furniture be the focus instead of all that paper... and it'd be cute for summer.

It would be a cool "fun room" especially when kids are visiting or when girlfriends come over. I can imagine chatting over tea and biscuits!
