I like it, but not just IT. I like to mix midcentury and danish modern pieces with my cottage/country vibe :)

there are some elements of the mid-century look that I love, and that I will probably always love. however, I have anyways been a fan of contrasts and mixing and matching styles to create a personal and ecclectic look.

I ike it, but I like more contemporary stuff too. There's so many amazing furniture designers right now. It's a shame West Elm, Crate and Barrel, and the like keep coming up with the same old tired crap. At least mid century stuff was well designed and beautiful and not the product of big box stores.

I love this concept in design- Historically speaking, much of this furniture was designed to be very inexpensive and un-wasteful in a time where people really couldn't afford to waste material or money.Although it seems times have certainly changed when you can punch a chair out of a sheet of particle-board...Go Mid-Cent!

there's a reason mid-century is so popular: because it's insanely well-designed and a time-tested look for for those of us for whom the words "shabby" and "chic" should never even be in the same sentence. that said, i like to mix it up with more victorian pieces so it's all not so uniformly mod.

Not really. I like to mix styles as well. I like some of the modern twists on mid-century modern

I like a lot of that stuff there! It kind of has a vintage feel, which I really like, but at the same time it looks rich! :)
