I tried not to overwater them but apparently I wasn't watering them enough. Now I have a 'prayer plant' (can't remember the real name of it) and so far so good ::knock on wood::. vanyvrgs 8 years I used to have the greenest thumb and as of late I cannot keep them alive. I get very sad when one of them dies. bizzybee 8 years Ever since I moved, I have been experiencing issues with keeping my houseplants alive. My loft is big and airy, which should be ideal. But, A/C and heat, extreme sun and chilly winters create changing plant environments. I'm still learning what works where. SoCalSugar 8 years I almost got some today as an impulse buy at Ikea... but then I remember how many house plants I have neglected over the years and decided to let the poor Ikea ones have a better shot at life.
