Are You Watching "Flipping Out" on Bravo?

Last week, I finally caught an episode of "Flipping Out," Bravo's new reality series about an obsessive-compulsive house-flipper. Now, I simply cannot look away from this hilarious and fascinating show, which airs a new episode tonight. How about you?

I thought people like him only lived in the twisted minds of screenplay writers!!!!!! What the hell happened to him to make him such a damaged person???

It is funny- but it almost seems borderline staged. For me, nothing can top Kathy Griffin!

I love this show! Its a guilty pleasure, for sure! I would hate to have Jeff as a boss, but he's so great to watch & anyone that loves animals can't be that bad, right?

I watched the first two episodes, and found myself asking why I was watching it? -Because it was on Bravo? And I love Bravo? -Because I love watching how businesses like that work? And than I realized that I wasn’t watching anything that was entertaining, or intriguing, in fact the people were making me cringe, roll my eyes, and thank my lucky stars that I rent an apartment. This show wont last, its not exciting, funny, or informative.

I think I might try and catch this sometime. It looks really cute and you can get some ideas for things to do in your own home.

The funniest part was when that assistant had to take Jeff's cat to the *cough* doctor *cough* (which was a chiropractor or something crazy) and on the way home the assistant starts CRYING because he thinks the CAT hates him. I watch it just to laugh at all these silly people.

I am really disctracted by the main guy's lip injections and lack of self-awareness! STOP GIVING TV SHOWS TO WEIRDOS!

Love this show. Jeff reminds me of my husband, b/c he's totally OCD about the same stuff.

The timing of this show is kind of ironic, considering all of the foreclosures going on across the country - no doubt some of them from people trying to get into the "flipping" thing. I saw one man on the news a few weeks ago who was trying to balance multiple mortgages on houses he'd bought for "flipping," only now he's having real trouble making the payments. He said he gets calls from creditors all day long. On the other hand, I guess those "flipping" shows have been on the "HGTV"-type networks for a little while now, so Bravo's entry is just one more show on the heap - or is it? I haven't seen "Flipping Out" yet but from what I understand, this guy Jeff Lewis literally has the Midas touch. He's obviously doing something right if he can buy already-pricey properties and flip them for over $1 million. I'm sure being in the real estate industry since 1999 helps (according to Wikipedia). His self-confessed OCD? That could be a whole other show ;-)

I do watch it and find it entertaining but haven't quite gotten to where I love it and can't miss an episode.
