Ben Affleck brought his mom along to pick up Violet from school yesterday. A week ago we got the news that Jennifer Garner had given birth to a baby girl, and today we finally have her name — Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck. It looks like they have a lot of helping hands around the house, and Violet is already proudly displaying that she is a big sister as her shirt says. We can't wait to see the newest addition to one of our favorite families.
It was a sunny family affair for Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, who took their boys out for a walk over the weekend. Zuma stayed snuggled in his stroller but got to enjoy two different vantage points while Kingston tried out his own set of wheels on a wooden bike. The big brother had a matching plaid shirt to dad, which is pretty damn cute. Gavin is up for teaching his sons just about anything, but before he gets to beer suggestions, it looks like fashion and bike riding are fun for now.
Kelly Clarkson's last album caused some controversy, but she's back with a brand new single from her upcoming album. It's another catchy, radio-friendly tune from the singer, and its release comes just in time for the new season of American Idol starting tonight. Give it a listen below and tell us what you think of "My Life Would Suck Without You" — love it or leave it?
Get the Bod: Jennifer Aniston Jennifer Aniston turns 40 on Feb. 11, and she's looking better than ever. Recently Us Weekly deemed hers "maybe the most envied body in Hollywood." Indeed, Jennifer is lean, muscular, and does it all by taking care of herself.
Kate Moss and Jamie Hince were hand in hand earlier today after lunch at a Japanese restaurant in London. If those pregnancy rumors are true, Kate should avoid the sushi — although after her recent smoking and drinking in Thailand, it all seems pretty unlikely. Add to that a two-day bash in Paris that she's said to be planning for her 35th birthday this weekend, and it doesn't seem like her nanny should be prepping for double the work just yet.
Blake Lively worked the old Hollywood look as the cover girl for Vogue's February issue. She's no stranger to designer clothes and perfect hair and makeup thanks to Serena van der Woodsen, but scoring this cover is a pretty big honor for the young actress. In the article she talks about fashion and why audiences love Gossip Girl. Here are highlights:
On how the show ignores the economic recession:: "We live in an alternate universe on the show; it's a heightened reality, so I don't think the writers would work that in. They created a show that people can watch after a long day and not have to stress and worry and feel the burdens of real life. It's just an escape, watching these sparkly lives and just escaping into this other world for an hour."
On the clothes: "The fashion is just unbelievable. You can watch our show on mute and be entertained. Just being here, walking around, you pick it up really quickly. In New York, you put on skinny jeans and riding boots and a leather coat and handbag, and you take on that posture and character. It becomes very natural."
On putting her personal touches on Serena's wardrobe: "The more they work with me and see my style, and the more I learn about fashion, the more input I have. It's more collaborative now than it was in the beginning because then I had no idea what I was doing."
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
