A bunch of stars proved that there's no reason to wait for New Year's Eve to get the party started in Miami last night. Casey Affleck joked around with his brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix, who apparently sees no reason to shave now that he's retired from the film industry. Diddy and Jamie Foxx were also on hand to join in the fun, while January Jones kept it a little more low-key cozying up her boyfriend. Many of the big holidays may have come and gone, but there are plenty more good times to be had as we all gear up to say goodbye to 2008.

Amy Winehouse posed for yet another bikini photo shoot in St. Lucia recently. She showcased herself eating a meal — perhaps as a response to her ex-manager's tell all interview about her eating disordered and drug abusing behavior. All of that being said, as her bikini photos have progressed from frolicking topless in the waves to awkwardly posing in her bikini to this set, she seems to maybe be getting healthier? Even in the past weeks? After being voted the most scandalous British celeb of 2008, a little tan is looking good on this (former?) trainwreck.

Last night newlyweds Beyonce and Jay-Z went shopping arm-in-arm with a bodyguard after sunset, while earlier in the day she posed for a photo with a friend at lunch in St. Barths. Beyonce was in resort mode, sporting super curly hair and wearing stripes. Perhaps their New Year's plans will be to party there, or something more low-key and romantic considering last year they went all out and they've had a busy past few months. Although it's hard to imagine these two not celebrating in style, especially since they have plenty to party about since Beyonce's latest song, "Single Ladies," is still number one for the third week in a row.
