She didn't have her boys along for the ride, so perhaps the pop star was picking up a few last minute holiday gifts. Britney can afford to skip the bargain shopping, though these days she's got a little less pocket cash since her dad is getting paid even more to act as conservator. Jamie Spears deserves fair compensation for helping his daughter become the most improved celebrity of 2008 and nothing says that more than an adorable happy holidays card from Brit and her boys.

Robert Pattinson brought his new short hair that you all are loving back to the UK when he arrived at Heathrow airport yesterday afternoon. He's back in his home country for the holidays, and he brought his trusty guitar along for the trip. Robert seems to be focusing more on film than music these days, but his legions of fans would probably be excited to hear anything that comes out of the sexy Brit's mouth.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson stepped out in LA yesterday afternoon to shop at Barneys and Maxfield. After a dramatic weekend that landed Samantha in the hospital on Sunday, things looked to be back to business as usual for the girls. Samantha wrote on her blog thanking everyone for their support, saying, "Happy Chanukah! Thanks for all your messages, I'm home and all good. was just pretty exhausted from traveling and working too much to buy chanukah gifts and my jewish mother was worried about me. I had good company and a jerry's deli deivery of chicken soup and potato pancakes and am feeling much better and am back to watching all my favourite jerry bruckheimer shows!" Well it's good to see Samantha up and about accompanying Lindsay doing what she does best, shopping.

All the girls of The Hills got together in NYC last night to celebrate the season finale of their show. The girls arrived via horse drawn carriage dressed in their finest though we're not exactly sure what Whitney was thinking with her headwear. After posing on the red carpet, the cast took their turns talking to the aftershow where your winners for worst street style and biggest douchebag and most annoying of the year Heidi and Spencer were always side by side. Surprisingly, the episode itself was the best in a long time with a semi heartbreaking (and seemingly real) conversation between Heidi and Lauren. Even Justin Bobby had his moment to shine being sweet to Audrina — and they do look hot together. Somehow even the scene of Heidi and Spencer in the courthouse was touching. Aww, so what did you think of the finale? Are you ready to dive right in to The City next week — though it doesn't sound like The Hills is going to be gone long according to LC who said it's coming back in the Spring.

Looks like Amy Winehouse remembered to pack a bikini top for her vacation in St. Lucia after all. Instead of Sunday's NSFW frolicking in the ocean, Amy was fully bathing suited up yesterday to strike a few poses for photographers. She managed to stay decent long enough to attend a local music festival, but she was back to being nearly in the buff to do a little dance on her hotel room's balcony. She seems to be loving all the attention, and after a rough year that included her husband's return to jail, some rest and relaxation away from it all is one of the healthier things Amy has done in '08.
