It's nice to see that even fashion writer Ashley is willing to kick it in sneakers once in a while like the rest of us.
Adam Sandler bundled up in a puffy jacket before taking his casual style into the Ed Sullivan Theater for a chat with Dave Letterman yesterday. He was there to promote Bedtime Stories, but also came prepared with plenty of his own tales about getting ready for the holidays with his wife and daughters. After telling Dave about fulfilling his dream to "get rich and live in a house full of chicks," Adam took the stage for a special performance of Neil Diamond's "Like a Hurricane." While Adam and his classic comedies will always have a special place in our hearts, his new kids' movie looks like a sweet treat to enjoy with the family.

Tina's got many more reasons to smile — on top of being one of Barbara Walter's most fascinating people, her show has been nominated for three Golden Globes, including one for her in the category of Best Actress, and she's your favorite comedic movie actress of 2008. It's hard to top all the accolades she's received over the past 12 months, but she's ready to kick off 2009 on the right foot.
Adrian Grenier walked the red carpet at the charity: water benefit in NYC last night, his second year in a row coming out to support the cause. He was joined this time by one of the city's newest residents, a white gown-clad Whitney Port, and her costar Olivia Palermo. It looks like Whitney is diving right into to New York social scene, which is just as well considering what's going down back on The Hills. On top of the usual makeup, technology, and food, we got a glimpse of Heidi and Spencer's wedding in Mexico as well as teary goodbyes at Whitney's going away party and reminiscing with LC. Next week is the big season finale with Lauren and Heidi reunion, so we'll have to tune in one more time before joining Whitney in The City Dec. 29.
