Lindsay Lohan left her lipstick choices at home as she stepped out with Samantha Ronson yesterday in LA. This week LL once again assured everyone she and Samantha are dong fine and the recent rumor that LL was nuzzling with Sean Penn sounds innocent in the end — they were apparently talking about a possible movie project. Lately Lindsay's been focused more on her successful leggings line than her acting, so teaming up with such an acclaimed actor could certainly help get her another hit.

Kanye West stopped to check out a piece of artwork featuring Obama as Superman in LA yesterday. We already know how he feels about the President-elect, but according to one of Kanye's latest blog posts, it sounds like he thinks he's pretty super himself. In full capital letters as usual, Kanye gave a shout out to his fans and wrote about how groundbreaking his new album is and that everyone will warm up to it eventually. We've always been entertained by Kanye's words of wisdom, but apparently his rants and design reviews aren't helping him win votes for favorite blogger of 2008.

Michelle Williams bundled up and did some reading while walking around NYC yesterday. The actress and her films have been getting a lot of buzz with award season around the corner, earning a few Independent Spirit nominations already and tomorrow could bring some Golden Globe recognition. In a recent interview Michelle talked about her movie Wendy and Lucy and what it meant to her. She said:

"It's a gift to be able to work in the exact way that you have always wanted to. I feel really lucky. The performances aren't performances, they're just like a documentary, you feel like you are spying on people, and that has always been the kind of filmmaking that I like... Personally I like seeing those kinds of movies. I find them comforting because they make me feel less alone."
Michelle's had a tough year, but she's looking on the bright side as she gets closer with Spike, concentrates on Matilda, and keeps Heath's memory in her heart.

New York got even cooler last night when the pretty young things came out to celebrate Ray-Ban Clubmaster Shades. Fresh off perhaps the most intense episode of the show ever, the Gossip Girl boys joined by Blake Lively — stylish as always — came out for the party. Ed and Jessica may not be the only possible new offscreen GG romance, supposedly Chace and Taylor were spotted making out at their holiday party. Lucky us, Josh Jackson and Diane Kruger were there keeping up their streak of sexy coupledom — check out how to get her outfit here. Ray-Bans have been Hollywood staples for years now, we'll just have to see whether the Clubmaster is any match for the iconic Wayfarers.
