Shrek: The Musical opened on Broadway last night, and there were plenty of celebs on hand to help welcome the famous green ogre to the stage. Cameron Diaz looked festive in her sparkly white dress while America Ferrera, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor also checked out the performance. Cameron was the first actress to make Princess Fiona come to life, but she's happy to leave the singing and dancing to the Broadway professionals. When asked about taking the stage, she said, "No. Absolutely not. What they do up there ... is, to me, impossible. It's wonderful, though. They've done such a great job. They worked really hard, and it really pays off." Sounds like we'll just have to wait for the next Shrek movie to see Cameron step back into Fiona's ogre shoes.

Matthew, Camila, and Levi got back to their routine in Malibu over the weekend, including jogs for Matthew and shopping trips for the whole family starring the already stylish baby. While McConaughey may not be running away with the favorite new celebrity parent of 2008 poll, he still seems so much warmer and happier now that he's growing into his role as a father. That isn't to say that Matthew and Camila aren't going to pass their free spirits onto little Levi, but MM already seems to have bigger things on his mind than trying to keep track of his flip flops.

John Mayer continued his bicoastal life arriving into JFK on Friday, with his leather jacket and scarf to help him brave the cold weather. He was back from a busy week in LA supporting Jennifer Aniston at her premiere, where he rightfully complimented her hot GQ cover. There are rumors today that Jennifer was searching for a red carpet date before the Marley & Me premiere, but that ended up being unnecessary since she has John again. While Jennifer and John still keep the details of their relationship pretty private, they're going strong and baking holiday treats into the new year.
