Britney Spears chatted on the phone leaving a dance studio last night before her exciting Thursday. Today in LA, 200 fans will attend a special screening of "memorable moments" in Britney's life hosted by MTV and attended by Brit herself. In another peek at her upcoming documentary after the jump, Britney talks about how she uses dancing and art to work through things instead of therapy.

She also explained in an interview how she named her album, saying at a circus you are "always at the edge of your seat" and "never bored" — which sounds like the Britney music we love. The album is still a few weeks away but apparently it's under tight surveillance after being leaked over the weekend. To top it off, Sean Preston is ninth on Forbes's hottest tots list, following in mom's all-star footsteps already.

Rihanna was on hand to light UNICEF's Snowflake in NYC last night before hitting the red carpet in a more dramatic gown alongside Blake Lively and Madonna. The snowflake marks the beginning of holiday shopping season, which we've already gotten a great start on around here with all our fabulous gift guides. Rihanna was also there to officially launch her Tattoo Heart Collection for Gucci, which also benefits UNICEF. The dresses were varied, but Madonna certainly stood out in her unique green LV number, she is the face of the brand after all, on a break from her world tour tonight in Philadelphia. She has a few nights off after that, and according to court records, she will be officially divorced as of tomorrow. As for Rihanna, we'll get to see her strutting her hot stuff on stage this Sunday at the American Music Awards.

As Jennifer Garner dealt with some scary stuff back home, Ben Affleck was across the world in the Congo yesterday. This is Ben's fourth trip as he continues to raise awareness about the crisis afflicting the nation. While in the city of Goma, the actor spoke out about this violent situation in Central Africa, and expressed his feelings on how people need to step up and help. Here's more:

- On what he sees: "I'm not an expert in international affairs or diplomacy, but it doesn't take that to see the tremendous suffering here. It's not something that we as human beings can, in good conscience, ignore."
- On why he made the trip: "The primary reason I am here is to urge people to give money to the NGOs and charities doing hard work in eastern Congo on meager funds. And if people out there have an existing relationship with a charity, to urge that charity to get involved in eastern Congo. To let people know, 'Don't just read the horror stories in the newspapers and turn off.'
- On the reason he chose this cause: "I thought a lot of people are advocating on Darfur. I'd just be a very small log on a big fire. I started getting interested in Congo and I thought, this is a place where I can have a really big impact."
Ben has always been one to show a softer and giving side whether towards his family or an international human rights issue. He uses his celebrity status in the best way and makes it seem like a given.

Katie carried her number one toddler, Suri out shopping and then into the All My Sons theater in NYC yesterday. The little miss is finally complementing her stylish wardrobe with some cold weather gear, and looked precious all snuggled up in her furry hooded jacket. It's been a big week for Suri, who also scored the top honors on Forbes' list of Hollywood's hottest tots, but hopefully she didn't steal too much thunder away from her parents on their second wedding anniversary.
