Fresh off the world seeing Jennifer Aniston confirm their relationship on Oprah as well as her hilarious acting on 30 Rock, she and John Mayer celebrated with a romantic night out in NYC. First John stopped by the Keep A Child Alive event, but then the night was all about his lady. The two dined at La Esquina where they looked very lovey before signing some autographs for fans and moving on to Goldbar where they danced the night away. On the red carpet earlier in the night, John played it coy but did admit that he thinks he would do a good job proposing when the time comes. It may be a little soon for these two, but love is in the air and more open than ever.

Rachel McAdams was as down to earth as any other passenger arriving at LAX last night, pushing her large amount of luggage in her own cart. The actress looked pretty even after a flight, though sadly it doesn't sound like she's going to be meeting up with Ryan Gosling. Unfortunately, the two are apparently off again after their brief and glorious reunion this Summer. She hasn't yet been spotted on set with her Sherlock Holmes' co-stars in England, but it looks like she's packed up for a long trip away from home. Even if it doesn't include any Gosling, there's always hope that she'll end up being the lucky lady who swoops him off our hottest bachelors list.

Stars came out in NYC last night for a great cause at Keep A Child Alive's annual Black Ball. Alicia Keys, co-founder and global ambassador for the organization, posed with Jessica Alba who was sporting the on trend bowl bangs. Alicia was able to wrangle up some great celebrity faces to round out the red carpet like suave guys Justin Timberlake and John Mayer both of whom dressed down their ties with leather jackets. Tyra and Queen Latifah were among the other familiar faces out to help save the children for a worthwhile formal Thursday night out on the town.

Nicole Richie's hair looked gorgeous on the way out of a salon with Joel Madden in LA yesterday. Their party last night caused some headlines when Nicole was spotted chatting it up with her former stylist turned nemesis Rachel Zoe. Nicole seems like a very different person than her 2006 days and just another example is her latest endeavor. She and Joel will be hosting this year's Snowflake Lighting Ceremony to benefit UNICEF on Rodeo Drive November 22. While she'll always have her sassy personality, there's a softer side to Nicole we've grown to love with the addition of Joel and the mouse to make a cute family of three.
