Angelina Jolie looked amazingly leggy in her short black dress at yesterday's Kung Fu Panda DVD release celebration at Grauman's Chinese Theater in LA. The youthful looking actress posed with her costars in the movie Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman and chatted about her smiley twins. While she always has a big smile when promoting the animated film, she is still doing the rounds talking about Changeling. Unsurprisingly, her openness is her blessing and her curse in the latest interview. Here are highlights:
On talking about adoption: “We talk about orphanages, we talk about their countries and differences, and it’s a source of excitement and pride. I’ve heard Maddox explain to Zahara when they are talking about pregnancy, ‘No, Zee, remember, you were in that nice African woman’s belly. I was in that nice Cambodian woman’.”
On life: “I’m one of those people who believes you just can’t regret things in life. You have to feel confident that it was all part of the journey . . . If you start to regret, start to hesitate and question every move to make, then you live in some different way,” she says. “And for all the craziness I’ve done, I’ve never hurt anybody.”
On the W Photo shoot: “I’d just had the kids six weeks before and felt so private, it didn’t feel right having a photographer fly across the world with a rack of stylish clothes for me to wear. . . It became this one-week project in our house,” Jolie says. The way she tells it, matters quickly got out of hand, and some of the photographs proved far too sexual to be released on an unsuspecting American audience. “Yeah, we thought about it, we’d look at the pictures as art and say this is a really interesting photograph, but then we’d know better and we’d think about how it was going to be received. So we made it a little more tame than it was originally.”
Lindsay Lohan slipped into a very little black dress and some hot blue booties to celebrate the launch of her 6126 Holiday Collection in Vegas on Friday. She didn't wear her signature leggings for the party, but she still happily celebrated the line. Naturally, Samantha Ronson provided the beats for the night and Lindsay spent most of the time cuddled up to her girl in the DJ booth. Luckily for LL, she could relax without having to hop on a plane to Monaco this weekend to host the World Music Awards after she was dropped as the host. While she's not much of a singer these days, hearing her plans to be involved with such a music event has me wondering what ever happened to her third album that was supposed to come out around now?
It was a star-studded night in Monaco on Sunday as celebrities got dressed up and headed overseas to the 2008 World Music Awards. As expected, Lindsay Lohan was no longer the host so Jesse Metcalf and Michelle Williams (the Destiny's Child one) took her place. Beyonce Knowles had her metal glove on while she performed and accepted an award and her sister, Solange, took the stage to sing as well. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon posed for the cameras while Chace Crawford presented a trophy to Kid Rock who won multiple times and performed as well. The big winners were Coldplay with three and Leona Lewis with two including best new artist and best pop female.
After her trip overseas, Victoria Beckham left Heathrow and resurfaced at LAX on Saturday. She was swarmed by photographers as usual, but Posh did her best to keep a low profile behind her hat and sunglasses. Her hot, hot Louboutin boots were all we got to see of her outfit this time, but maybe she's just keeping herself covered up before taking it all off for Armani.
Check out this newly leaked track off Britney's upcoming album, Circus. It's called "Kill the Lights" and like "Womanizer" is one that's for the dance floor. It's supposedly about her relationship with the paparazzi, which is frequent inspiration for Miss Spears. So take a listen below and let us know what you think of Britney's new song "Kill the Lights" — love it or leave it?
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
