Leonardo DiCaprio skipped Election Day in the United States in order to keep premiering Body of Lies overseas. This time, he and director Ridley Scott hit Rome, posing side by side before screening their film. While this one may have been a critical mixed bag his Revolutionary Road is already getting big buzz and not just because of his reunion with Kate Winslet. Oscar buzz is heating up and with award season around the corner we wouldn't mind having to see a lot more Leo on the red carpet soon.

Jessica Simpson looked very cheery in her yellow jacket as she and Daisy made their way through LAX yesterday. She and her blonde locks have probably been missing BFF Ken Paves after his hospital trip, but now that he's doing just fine, we wonder how long before he's brave enough to face the photographers with his sidekick again. If you were hitting the polls in LA yesterday, there might have been a celebrity sighting in the cards. We took a look at the stars that stopped off to vote earlier in the day, but these ladies all made sure to make it out in time. Lindsay Lohan, Christina Aguilera and Hilary Duff all wore their "I Voted" stickers with pride to go with their fashionable Election Day looks. Before the election, Lindsay blogged to encourage people to vote, but it doesn't seem like there was a lack of turnout yesterday. Barack Obama was elected President of the United States and whether or not that was these ladies' choice or if they had propositions near and dear to their hearts, it's great to see that no matter how big a star they are, yesterday we all came together to vote.

Violet Affleck was animated as usual as Jennifer Garner picked her up from school before heading to the voting booth in LA yesterday. We're sure Ben had plenty to talk about with his girls as well — though the sticker he proudly showed off really says it all. Ben and Jen were just two of the many celebrities who set a good example by hitting the voting booths yesterday, and after all their hard work for the Obama campaign, the whole family must be celebrating the Democratic victory today.
