Courteney Cox is teaming up with Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence to try her hand at another TV series. After working together for her guest spot on Scrubs, Courteney will star in Cougar Town about a 40-year-old single mom who's trying to deal with the aging process. Courteney had big roles in Ace Ventura and of course as Monica on Friends, so tell us — are you excited that Courteney is going back to comedy?
TV Tonight: 30 Rock Returns! Jeez, it's about time 30 Rock came back. Since the NBC comedy was last on the air, it's picked up a passel of Emmys, and its creator and star, Tina Fey, has gotten wildly famous for her side job as Sarah Palin. Which is all well and good, of course — it's just been quite the wait to see the 30 Rock gang together again, doing what they do best.
While John Mayer was out lusting over the BlackBerry Storm, Jennifer Aniston enjoyed dinner out in LA last night. She looked refreshed after her recent spa trip with John and even had a smile on her face as she headed to her car. While most of us are jealous just to see that it's warm enough for her to wear a tank top at night, we're also wondering if John was able to snag one of the hot new gadgets for his fellow BlackBerry loving lady.
Shia LaBeouf took advantage of a day off from filming Transformers 2 to run some errands in one of his favorite t-shirts. Shia was one of the stars who got our attention encouraging us to vote, but apparently Selena Gomez noticed him a long time ago. She recently talked about her big crush on Shia and how much she'd love for him to make a cameo on her Disney show. He's come a long way since his Even Stevens days, but it would be pretty sweet to see Shia going back to his roots.
Private Practice Style: Addison Montgomery Addison steps out of her scrubs and into a very put-together black-and-white look. Like Addison, you should take notes, because you'll want to copy her wardrobe, especially the printed skirt and black scoop-neck tee. The white cuff adds some edge to the otherwise soft outfit. Shop Dr. Addison's look now.
Heidi Montag headed out to pick up her Halloween costume in LA yesterday at the famous Trashy Lingerie. Never one to keep it low-key, Heidi snatched up a predictable sexy Catholic Schoolgirl outfit that doesn't leave much to the imagination. Last year she and Spencer didn't couple up with their costumes, but seeing him dressed as a priest seems right up his alley. No matter what, I'm sure they'll give us a peek tomorrow night when they hit the town — I just wonder if they'll run into anyone dressed up as obnoxious Heidi and Spencer while they're partying away.
John Mayer had a gadget in hand at last night's BlackBerry Storm launch party in LA. While he loves to show off his newest toys, he also recently blogged for the Huffington Post about politics. John wrote passionately about Sept. 11, how it affected his generation, and why he supports Barack Obama. Here's an excerpt:
"I believe the definition of the 'hope' that Barack Obama enthuses operates on the unspoken thesis that there has to be a polar opposite to the despair of 9/11. Because if we accept that there's not, the will to live becomes forever altered. To adults who will vote for him, Barack Obama represents a return to prosperity. To the youth, he represents an introduction to it."
Kate Moss was all smiles leaving the SingStar Take That Extravaganza in London. She took a casual approach to the night, opting for patent leather flats and mismatched blacks.
