Reese Witherspoon coordinated black and brown from her dress to her bag to her shoes out in Santa Monica yesterday. She had a big smile on her face out with a friend and stopping by a toy store to pick up some goodies. Reese's happiness shines through these days thanks to any number of things — amazingly successful career, two healthy gorgeous children, a loving boyfriend, fulfilling charity work. There's a lot to admire and even envy about Reese, but at least she's down to earth enough to admit that even she knows how lucky she is with her amazing life.
Nicole Richie was back in her short shorts yesterday for some shopping and catching up with a friend. Considering how dedicated she is to keeping track of Harlow's every move, it must be hard to be away from her little one, but Nicole looked happy to get some time to herself. Nicole deserves a coffee break after her kickass appearance on Chuck earlier this week, though it probably won't be long before she's back to recording Harlow's daily cuteness.
Fringe Rundown: Episode Six, "The Cure" On this week's Fringe, we finally learn a little more about Olivia, whose private life has been mostly a big void until now. Also, a lot of living things explode, so if you haven't watched yet, I recommend you don't do so with food. Overall, I thought this was one of the stronger episodes of the series. Do you agree? To talk about it, just read more.
Kate Bosworth kept warm by changing into tights, pumps and sticking with a blazer at the Chanel Mobile Art after party last night. When someone asked Kate who she was wearing on the red carpet she laughed and jokingly yelled out, "Who am I wearing? What do you think?" The actress showed off her silver frock and is currently winning her battle of the Chanel, so looks like she chose the right outfit. When asked about a memorable Chanel piece she's worn, Kate said:
"I didn’t keep it because it's in the archives. It’s the Chanel dress I wore to the Met ball. It was pretty amazing. It was made in the eighties and it’s just pretty amazing, I was really happy."
Kate was pulled away by James as they left the chilly art pavilion and the gorgeous couple headed hand-in-hand to the Waverly Inn soiree.
Jennifer Lopez was joined by heavy-hitters like California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the richest man in America Warren Buffett at the 2008 Women's Conference in Long Beach today. She made a speech at the event and despite her big smile, opened up about some painful lessons she's learned in her personal life. Jennifer said, "I have been in relationships that can make you doubt who you are and what you are capable of, and doubt what you deserve. It took me a bit little longer to get it right." Whomever she's referring to, it's clear that she's ready to inspire others with the happiness she's found in her newly-renewed marriage.
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
