Anne Hathaway stopped by The Late Show yesterday and soon as David Letterman was done complimenting her glowing appearance — which she attributed to quitting smoking, drinking and becoming "vaguely vegan" — he grilled her about her ex, Raffaello Follieri. Dave told her to stop him when he crossed the line, but she held her own as he asked her everything from how long they knew each other to whether he ever stole things out of her purse. She claimed not to know the details of his jail time or case, though she'll probably see the headlines when he's sentenced this Friday. Anne has spoken up about her ex before, but last night she was able to joke about "crashing and burning." With the actress getting so much praise already for Rachel Getting Married and a new project in the works, hopefully Anne is staying happily distracted.

Isla Fisher looked adorable in her plaid soaking in the LA sun yesterday with Olive — just another day together while Sacha Baron Cohen makes trouble overseas. Isla and Olive have had some fun girl time recently playing with friends and shopping around town, though despite her upcoming movie Isla says the latter isn't her strong point. She said, "I shop rarely and rather poorly. . .Whenever I do purchase something, I instantly regret it. I don't enjoy the process." While we've all felt a little buyer's remorse at one time or another, Isla's career is going so well these days she deserves to indulge — plus being so adorable she probably looks fantastic in everything.

Jessica Simpson sported black and some big hoop earrings at Katsuya for dinner after hitting the stage on Dancing With the Stars last night. Jessica sounded good performing "Come on Over" and her old hit "Angels" — video below — before the surprising elimination in the competition. Jessica's become quite the confident performer despite some difficult reviews over the past few months, but she still has that famous smile on her face. Perhaps it's extra big these days thanks to rumors that she and Tony were spotted looking at engagement rings in Chicago recently.

Britney Spears had a full schedule yesterday as she made her way around NYC promoting "Womanizer." She sported some stripes in the afternoon to shop in Soho but later in the evening, she put on a hot LBD and some sparkly earrings to attend a performance of In the Heights. Afterwards she went backstage to take photos with the cast members who gushed about Brit calling her "sweet and generous" and saying "she was freaking awesome." She's been a busy woman during her time on the East Coast, but it's great to see she's also finding time for fun.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson continued their beach vacation in Cabo, showing off another set of bikinis. Once again, Lindsay went with the darker of the two suits, which is still a bit of a shock but hey, apparently Samantha loves a pink and blue string bikini! The ladies both look great catching some rays, skipping rocks, and even socializing with another couple in the surf. While Lindsay takes a break from LA life, her lawyers are still working hard dealing with the fraud claim from her former bodyguard. That seems a million miles away from Lindsay's mind while she's on vacation lounging in bikinis with her girl.
