Katherine Heigl wore her glasses and loaded up on pearls to go to dinner with a friend in LA last night. She's been busy filming Grey's Anatomy, but Katherine still makes time to see her hubby Josh Kelley, who says he's always trying to impress her when he's performing. On-screen, Izzie might be a little lonely but Katherine seems to be doing just fine keeping up with her phonebook full of friends and family.

Jay-Z flashed a big smile as he left Katsuya last night after arriving at LAX. He spent the weekend in London to promote the New Jersey Nets, but apparently Jay's services are too steep these days. He couldn't score a gig at any clubs due to his high appearance fee, even after he lowered his asking price. Even if he's not getting any love overseas, Jay kicks off a stateside tour tomorrow at the Hollywood Palladium and he'll be joined by a very special guest. DJ AM will return to the stage for the first time since his plane crash, and from there will join Jay-Z for some of the dates on the tour.

Eva Longoria is all glammed up on the cover of November's Allure, looking nothing like her low-key character on this season of Desperate Housewives. In between poses, she opened up to the magazine about her much-talked-about weight gain, rock-solid relationship with Tony, and famous friends. Here's more:
- On her weight:"I've stopped working out and gained about seven pounds, which is a lot for a small person — but I'm still a size 0 . . . I never went up a size. I just got a little rounder."
- On Victoria Beckham: "By the way, in real life? Victoria Beckham smiles a lot. She's very, very funny. I introduced her to Kate Beckinsale. How could they not know each other? They're just like a comedy show."
- On her confidence:"I know I'm not pregnant; I know Tony and I aren't breaking up. I know we're not cheating."
Aside from the speculation over her figure, all seems to be well with Eva in terms of her family and career. She might not be pregnant just yet, but when that time comes it'll be fun to see yet another new side of Eva.
Lauren Conrad headed into the salon yesterday to maintain the flawless hair we see every week on The Hills. Last night's episode was all about Audrina as she got dinner with a new boy and tried to avoid Justin Bobby's phone calls, and apparently LC might be ready to let her costars take the lead. She recently said, "It's coming to a point where I love this show so much, but I'm ready to kind of walk away. I've been doing it for five years now. Five years on TV is a really, really long time." We'd miss seeing her fabulous style week after week — check out how to get last night's looks — but we can't blame her for wanting to focus on the other aspects of her career. Johnny Depp stepped out in Hollywood over the weekend looking young, hot, and like the coolest guy in town. Even as he gets older, Johnny never loses his appeal, so it's no wonder that he's breaking records with his paychecks and still topping lists as the sexiest man alive. Even if Vanessa Paradis doesn't have plans to marry Johnny, the two adore each other and their family, which seems to be influencing Johny's movie choices these days. In addition to a fourth Pirates, Johnny will be making another slightly dark take on a children's story teaming up again with Tim Burton for Alice in Wonderland.
