We've been waiting patiently for the rest of the W Magazine spread and interview since first seeing the controversial cover of Angelina Jolie and initial quotes last week. Love how personal and intimate they seem — the whole family looks stunning. There is also the back story on how the shoot came to be with Brad as photographer, but here are more interview highlights:

• On Maddox's love of guns and knives: “My mom took me to buy my first daggers when I was 11 or 12,” she recalls. “And I’ve already bought Maddox some things. We take him to a special shop.” She emphasizes that the knife blades are dulled so they’re not dangerous, and that the purchases are accompanied by discussions about violence. But, she says, “we also talk about samurais and about the idea of defending someone as good. We talk about everything.”
• On traveling: “It’s part of how I want to raise them,” Jolie says, adding that they’ve shown no resistance to being uprooted. “If you tell them we’re getting on a plane tomorrow, they’re all excited to pack their bags, and if you say we’re not coming back for months, they won’t bat an eye,” she says. “I think they see the world as a home. I’ve seen Madd run through the markets of Addis Ababa [in Ethiopia] and not notice that it’s very poor, or that everyone is African or that he’s Asian. It wouldn’t matter to him.” If Jolie has a favorite possession, she says, it’s the overstuffed Tumi case that holds the family’s travel documents: Vietnamese, Namibian, Ethiopian, French and American passports, plus her own UN credentials.

Jessica Simpson slipped into mini black shorts to perform at Lowe's Motor Speedway before the Nascar Bank of America 500 on Saturday night in Concord, North Carolina. While she may have messed up the words to the National Anthem, she's no stranger to embarrassing moments and she talked about that and more after. Here's more:

• On her album: "This album has been a journey of discovery. When you go through a divorce, you become numb. [...] This album was a therapeutic experience. Many of the songs are about people the world hasn’t even heard of, but if the people in question listen, they’ll know who they are."
• On Nick and Newlyweds: "I don’t regret the show or my marriage. Not at all. It made me who I am. I admit I’m a ditz and I’ve had my moments; I’m the first one to walk onstage, trip up in front of thousands of people and split my pants, but I don’t take myself too seriously. However, I do look back on that girl and go, ‘Oh Lord, she had a lot of growing up to do."
• On babies: "I’d love six kids running around, but I guess I’ll have to start pretty soon. I can’t wait for [Ashlee's] baby to come. I already feel as if I’m an aunt because I talk to that baby all the time. I’m really close to my sister and since she’s pregnant right now, she’s always around, which is great."

Jess is eager to talk about how happy she is right now which we love to see. While she constantly causes controversy, there's a reason why she sells covers and at least she's able to laugh at herself too.

Diesel celebrated 30 years with a Rock & Roll Circus themed party in Brooklyn, NY on Saturday night. The celebrity guest list was long and the night included performances from TI, a surprisingly pregnant MIA and more with Joel and Benji Madden playing DJs for the crowd. Benji's girl Paris Hilton hit the red carpet across the pond at the London outpost, as Taylor Momsen in white assured the NY press that there's nothing to worry about when it comes to her weight. Lindsay Lohan hit the party without her other half, but posing fierce nonetheless. While this themed party didn't inspire any celebrities to dress up, rumor has it that Lindsay has her Sarah Palin costume all planned out.

Britney Spears stopped at Starbucks in LA on Saturday afternoon. On Friday night we got to see her sexy "Womanizer" video, which most of you loved and is hopefully just the start of hot Britney being back. Between her sexy video, another new fragrance, anticipated documentary and album on the way, the pop star has a busy schedule. While we wait to hear her side of the past few years and the rest of her new music, it's more than enough to see her spending time with her adorable boys.

Jennifer Lopez spent some time shopping on Robertson Blvd before heading to Las Vegas for a very romantic Friday night with Marc Anthony. The couple celebrated the night away before deciding to renew their vows in the early morning as did their friend Mets' Carlos Beltran and his wife, calling around for a minister before the ceremonies at about 3 in the morning in their Caesars Palace penthouse suite. With all the sweetness between Jennifer and Marc these days kissing overseas with their twins, it's no surprise they wanted to officially declare their love for each other once again.
