Nicole Richie was spotted leaving traffic school in LA yet again yesterday, but apparently staying organized and keeping a schedule is one of her favorite things to do these days. In this week's People, Nicole and Harlow grace the cover and Joel joins them inside the issue in an adorable photo shoot. They also talk about how they would never dream of going back to life before parenthood. Here are highlights:
Nicole on Harlow: "She appreciates every single thing. It's awesome. She's very carefree, very independent. In the car, she's in the back talking to herself. Harlow's a delicate soul. She studies people. She's very coy. People say that she and I make the same expressions. But everyone says she looks like Joel."
Joel on whether he misses pre-baby life: "I can't imagine life without her. It was never a moment where it was like, 'This is inconvenient for us.' We're very blessed to have it happen the way it did."
Nicole on how she views herself after motherhood: "I think my sense of self is still the same. But I don't do things, we do things. I work around her. When I was like 2 or 3, my mom and I would get our nails and hair done together. That was so fun. And I want her I to do that when she's older."

Kate Moss paired her short shorts with a fur coat on Tuesday when she and a friend picked up an armload of magazines in London. She's often the cover girl herself, and it's not like Kate needs to brush up on her fashion knowledge since she's already been named a British Style Genius. Her cameo on the UK show aired earlier this week, and Fashionologie has a special peek at the Kate highlights, including one of her meetings with the designers at Topshop. It's a rare glimpse at seeing and hearing Kate in action, and it's fun to see how giggly and excited she is about working on her line.
David Duchovny jogged around NYC today looking a little sweaty in his yellow beanie. It's always a treat to see him out and about, and we're even happier to see him staying healthy after his recent stint in rehab. As David continues to recover at home with his family, we'll keep tuning in to get our fill of Hank Moody on Californication. The show's ratings dropped a bit this year, but between David's antics and the underrated actresses on the series, we can't sing enough praises for one of our favorite shows.
Lipstick Jungle Rundown: Episode Three, "Let It Be" Wow, Lipstick Jungle gets intense this week. There's another death — our second in three episodes! — and a hearty dose of workplace drama. Even Victory's storylines, which are usually the comic relief, get heavy.
Q: In Changeling, fate intervenes. Do you believe in that kind of mysterious turn of events that can dramatically change one's life? A: Only in a positive way. When I met my son Maddox, I went to Cambodia and left feeling I'd left something behind. I went back on a humanitarian mission and I felt, "My son's here." It was the strangest feeling. I woke up that morning thinking, "They're going to introduce me to my kid today and I wonder how I'm going to feel." And the moment I saw Maddox I knew I was his mother. I can't explain it.
Q: Does doing a film like this make you feel even more protective of your own kids? A: We have a high-profile family, but I don't want my children to be scared when we have to quickly get into the car because some person is running at us with a camera or something. It is a fine line of wanting them to be aware of strangers but not making them afraid. I suppose that, like with everything with children, it's just communication and being honest with them.
Q: What helps you deal with all the fame and celebrity that surrounds you? A: I'm just a mom and I'm very grounded by my family. I'm very happy, and I'm so lucky. The world can like me, hate me, fall apart around me, and at least, you know, I wake up with my little kids and I'm happy.
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
