Britney Spears is having an amazing week with her iTunes No. 1 and the video still to come tomorrow, but yesterday wasn't as much fun. During a shopping trip, the pop star was involved in a car accident with a paparazzo in another vehicle. It's unclear who was at fault, but the good news is that Brit was in the backseat instead of behind the wheel. Meanwhile, her lawyer rejected a plea deal for a $150 fine and a year of probation and opted to go to court for her driving without a license case. The trial will take place on October 15, and her attorney is hoping that Brit will walk away with no more than a $10 fine since she corrected the violation. Britney is no stranger to drama but we'd hate to see her good streak interrupted by a mistake from her past.

Lauren Conrad grabbed lunch at Toast in LA yesterday with her "just friend" Kyle Howard before they hopped into an insane car. The rumors about hooking up with Justin didn't affect her relationship with the My Boys actor, but Audrina isn't ready to move on yet. Despite Lauren denying that she would ever go behind Audrina's back, Audrina told Ellen DeGeneres yesterday that she's still confused about the whole thing, claiming that neither Lauren nor Justin would talk to her about it. Sounds like the drama between Lauren and Audrina didn't end with their teary heart-to-heart on The Hills.

After launching their Elizabeth and James line in London Tuesday night, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were already on their way out of Heathrow yesterday when they had a celebrity sighting — Gwyneth Paltrow. The three blondes and their respective entourages joined forces for a bit as they made their way through the airport. With recent Fashion Week trips in common, the three fashionistas had a lot to chat about as they waited for their flights.

Hayden Christensen grabbed a healthy-looking snack in LA yesterday, once again in his standard Bape hat. With Rachel off promoting her new clothing line, it's been awhile since we've seen this couple together — but Hayden's been busy himself. He just signed on to do three movies with Sony's Screen Gems, starting with Bone Deep, which we've already seen Chris Brown working on. Sounds like Hayden's going to have his hands full for a while, but there are still the red carpet premieres for New York, I Love You with Rachel to look forward to.
