After the weekend in NYC for Angelina's Changeling premiere, at least one Jolie-Pitt headed to New Orleans to check on things at their house in the French Quarter. Brad spent his morning biking around the neighborhood, showing off his notebook complete with a Barack Obama sticker. Brad probably has some business to attend to — like checking up on his Make It Right program — but if the kids joined him for the trip hopefully we'll get to see another one of the family bike rides they love so much.
Nicollette Sheridan frolicked around Malibu beach showing off her bikini body yesterday afternoon before the rest of us checked her out on last night's episode of Desperate Housewives. Off screen, Nicollette seems to be bouncing back just fine from her split with Michael Bolton and is obviously proud of her hot bod at 44. So tell us — do you think Nicollette's still got it or is she trying too hard?
Mad Men Rundown: Episode 10, "The Inheritance" This week's installment has little Sterling-Cooper stuff and tons of richly layered, sad, prickly family issues dealing with difficult moms, sick dads, unknown heirs and lonely little boys. We don't see too see much of our main man, Don Draper, and I longed for more Joan, Roger and Peggy, but this episode is just as sad, disturbing and well-written as any of them.
After the drama-filled Friday, the girls of The Hills spent most of the weekend apart. ICYMI, at the end of last week the rumor got out that LC hooked up with Justin Bobby and while most of you didn't think Lauren would do that, Audrina wasn't too sure prompting LC to deny it on her blog and call out Audrina for not trusting her. Whew, never a dull moment. Later that afternoon, Audrina met up with Heidi for coffee while Lauren was spotted out with her father on Sunday. Nothing like a little family time to get your mind off a stressful weekend, though maybe the girls have reconciled by now. We'll be back in the thick of things tonight for another new episode of The Hills, where it looks like Heidi is reaching out to Lauren again, should be interesting.
Celebrity Style: Rachel Bilson Rachel Bilson continued her Edie Rose For DKNY Jeans promotion tour in NYC over the weekend. While in Florida she went entirely androgynous and in the Big Apple she pulled in a touch of femininity with a colorful silk scarf. I love how she left it untied. Rachel also wore an Edie Rose For DKNY Jeans piped blazer and studded Louboutin boots.
Jessica Simpson hid under her familiar Cowboys hat, but even the camouflage doesn't let her blend in with the crowd making her way through security at LAX with Daisy. One place Jessica has made sure to keep incognito, however, is in the stands at Cowboys games. After earning her "jinx" reputation last season, she keeps herself out of the spotlight when she watches Tony play. So whether she was off to watch him win again last night, she wasn't calling attention to herself with any pink jerseys. Later this week, she'll be standing out on the red carpet when she is honored at the 5th Annual Hollywood Style Awards.
Victoria Beckham looked fabulous as usual when she took her boys to Build-A-Bear in LA on Saturday. Maybe the Beckham boys heard from Suri how much fun the store was and they just had to get their own bears. While Victoria can blend in at the mall sometimes, this was not one of those outings. Her perfectly fitted red hot dress, huge purse and sky high stilettos were just a few things that made Posh pop. As if the heel-less boots from last week weren't shocking enough, this time sources said it was as if she was walking on ball point pens in these shoes — talk about a balancing act.
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
