Jay-Z tried on one of the only kinds of bling he can't buy — Olympic gold medals — at the 2008 Global Leadership Awards Gala in NYC last night. The three first place medals belonged to swimmer Ryan Lochte who we're so used to seeing without a shirt that the suit makes him hard to recognize. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones joined the boys on the red carpet. Jay-Z was among the honorees last night and he talked about his recent trips to Africa being reward enough but also opened up a little bit about wanting a family saying, "Most people I guess dream of having a family some day, so I'm just a regular American boy." Before we get to see little J or B, he'll be hopping on a plane and heading to the Midwest soon to perform a free concert this Saturday in Michigan at a voter registration event offered by Barack Obama.
Anne Hathaway went on Good Morning America today to continue promoting Rachel Getting Married, but was also asked about all of the Raffaello Follieri drama. Between this, and being grilled by Letterman the topic seems uncomfortable for Anne. She said, "What's the right thing to do? Do you talk about it? It's the elephant in the room. I think it's better to let everyone know that I'm OK. I'm trying to move on and have a sense of humor about everything." She might say it's OK but the wounds are still painful so what do you think — should everyone stop asking Anne about Raffaello?
Natalie Portman and Emma Watson were all dressed up earlier today to see Giambattista Valli's new collection during Paris Fashion Week. Emma has been in France to attend other shows, but this is Natalie's first appearance after checking out the offerings in New York last month. She didn't appear too broken up over her split from Devendra, especially considering that she happily made friends with her seat-mate Lapo Elkann, though she sold her apartment in NYC, the city where she spent most of her time with Devendra. We're sure Natalie's never short on male attention, but gorgeous clothes can also help take a girl's mind off a breakup.

Kate Hudson and Fergie have been busy filming Nine in London, but yesterday they took a break for dinner at Cipriani with a few of their fellow costars. It must be fun hanging out and making new friends, and judging from Kate's big grin, there's been plenty of laughs to be had during their time overseas. While we can't wait to see the eclectic cast showing off their skills for the musical movie, for now the girls seem to be having a ball just hanging out and enjoying London's nightlife.
