Jennifer Garner shared a laugh with her friend on the way to breakfast at Le Pain in Brentwood this morning. She kept her baby bump warm under a cozy sweatshirt despite the sunshine. After an emotional playground trip over the weekend, Jennifer's preschool-going sweetheart Violet didn't join mom on this outing. It's always nice to fit in a little adult time, too, because with another baby on the way, soon it'll be harder to squeeze in quiet breakfasts with friends for this hands-on mom.
Lauren Conrad had her trusty Chanel arriving at a studio in LA earlier today. Last night's episode of The Hills was pretty intense, with Britney's "Womanizer" appropriately opening the show. Between Heidi's mom crying over lunch about the Spencer lies and the Stephanie-Doug-LC love triangle with incriminating text messages, emotions were running high. From the previews it looks like Heidi might be reaching out to Lauren for a reconciliation, but we'll have to until next week for that. The beauty and fashion were a good distraction from the drama, but what did you think about last night's episode?
Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, and Ed Westwick put on their serious faces for the cover of October's Details. The boys sat down with the magazine to chat about their new-found fame, some crazy fan experiences, and what they really think of being on Gossip Girl. We're used to seeing this trio all decked out as their fancy Upper East Side on-screen characters, with their chic gadgets and enviable wardrobes, but this wet and broody look is something new. So tell us — which of the three GG boys is the hottest on the Details cover?
Chuck Rundown: Episode One, "Chuck vs. the First Date" First date? Yup. This episode of Chuck kicked off the season with Chuck attempting to develop a normal relationship with Sarah, i.e. one that wouldn't involve guns at every dinner. Chuck's not supposed to be the Intersect anymore, after all, so why shouldn't he get a little non-threatening-to-national-security love?
Shenae Grimes looked comfy running errands and grabbing Starbucks while out in West Hollywood on Sunday. The actress recently posed and chatted with InStyle saying, "I've always had a strong personal style. I love to stand out in a crowd so I go to extremes." Unfortunately, it seems Shenae's been standing out for the wrong reasons since 90210 started — whether it's because of her negative influence, her bad girl ways, or her rumored moodiness on set. Her on-screen persona Annie, however, is still a sweetheart, but after another new episode tonight we'll see how long that lasts.
Eva Mendes was spotted buying a stack of magazines in LA yesterday, including one with her own Calvin Klein Secret Obsession ad on the back cover — facing out for the world to see, of course. Even if she didn't divulge her own secret obsession to Bella, she did reveal how sexy she felt during the photo shoot for the ad campaign and it shows. Eva's movie The Women might not have been a critical or box office success, but it did show a new side of Eva before she gets back to her sexy ways in The Spirit.
Movie Preview: Madonna's Filth and Wisdom So, Madonna directed an indie movie, Filth and Wisdom ("they are two sides of the same coin"). The trailer is narrated by the main character, a Ukrainian man named A.K. (Eugene Hutz, frontman of gypsy punk band Gogol Bordello), who "finances his dreams of rock glory by moonlighting as a cross-dressing dominatrix."
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
