DJ AM was back in LA yesterday on his way to a memorial service for Chris "Lil' Chris" Baker, Travis Barker's personal assistant who died in the plane crash. Baker's wife requested that people wear green, her husband's favorite color, for the service attended by over 300 people. After reports that DJ AM's burns were on his upper body including arms and head, it's reassuring to see how great and strong he looks. Travis is out of the hospital and on his way back to LA by bus. There's a long road of recovery left for both Adam and Travis, but seeing him back on his feet and out to remember his friend is pretty incredible. Our thoughts remain with Travis, DJ AM, and the family and loved ones of the victims of the crash.
After another Friday afternoon coaching his team, Ashton Kutcher joined Demi Moore at Iowa State University for the Vote Early For Change Rally on Saturday. The happy couple is traveling around Ashton's home state talking to university students about their support for Barack Obama and the importance of voting. Demi said, "That's what scares me, that if we have another four years of what I call the same dance, a different partner, that's not a dance I want to show up to." It was another big weekend for politics all around — wonder if the busy duo still found time to catch Friday's debate or Tina Fey back as Sarah Palin on SNL.
Mad Men Rundown: Episode Nine, "Six Month Leave" Any Mad Men episode with a lot of Roger Sterling in it is going to be among my favorites, and that's a big reason why this first new episode after the show's big Emmy wins did not disappoint.
After spending a week abroad continuing to celebrate Marc Anthony's birthday and hanging out with Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves at Milan Fashion Week, Jennifer Lopez was back to work in the states this morning. She got all dolled up in white for the launch of her new fragrance, Deseo For Men, at Macy's in NYC. J Lo is no stranger to designing her own scents, but this is her first attempt at branching out to men — something tells us she's already got at least one loyal customer in Marc.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have been enjoying a vacation in Italy packed with photo ops and sightseeing, but they also found time to get romantic. Last week they shared a few kisses on the street and cozied up over dinner. On Friday the couple headed to a vintage jewelry shop for a few new items to add to Jess's collection. Now that Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are married, we can't help but think back to last year and wonder if an even more special sparkler is on the way for these two members of that love square.
