Naomi Watts and her son Alexander are back in LA after their fun-filled trip to Sydney. The pair joined some of her pals yesterday as they shopped for baby gear, though earlier today Naomi left Alexander at home when she grabbed lunch at the Brentwood Country Mart wearing some short shorts. She has around three months until the baby is due, but this time Naomi knows how to get ready for the next Watts-Schreiber.
Katie Holmes set out for yet another trek to rehearsal for All My Sons in NYC yesterday. Not as much fun as seeing Suri clean up at the Build-A-Bear workshop, but the good news is that Katie's been getting more praise from costars. John Lithgow couldn't help gushing about her performance, saying, "Katie is lovely in the play, and she's been such a sweetheart to work with. She has worked so hard — this is a tough, tough play. Katie is acting with thoroughbreds and she's doing a wonderful job! She's had to really push herself." He went on to call the whole Cruise family "adorable," and while we can't argue on that one, we're still curious to read what all the critics have to say, too.
Clay Aiken posed with his baby son, Parker, on the cover of this week's People Magazine, opening up for the first time about his often speculated about sexuality and proclaiming, "Yes, I'm Gay". Just a few years ago Lance Bass posed with an almost identical headline and now the former American Idol runner up is ready to be a new father out of the closet. The cover also proclaims, "I cannot raise a child to lie or hide things." There will be a lot more to come when the issue comes out, but so good for Clay to have the courage to be honest and what an adorable baby boy!
Dave Navarro Collects Scary ArtworkInTouch magazine recently paid a visit to rocker and eyebrow waxing aficionado Dave Navarro to check out his home style (because we know his makeup, manscaping, and fashions are so spot on!). In between praising him for matching "his nail polish to the red overhead light fixture" and explaining why Dave needs to feel at home (he's on the road a lot), Doug Wilson, InTouch's interior design commenter, seems to have ignored something quite conspicuous hanging on his wall: a clown painting by the infamous serial child killer John Wayne Gacy.
Milan Fashion Week continued yesterday, with Cate Blanchett, Rachel Zoe, and Solange Knowles serving as a few of the stars who made the long trip to Italy for the big event. Cate showed the love for her old friend Giorgio Armani, along with Solange who was looking a lot more toned-down then her usual red carpet fare. Rachel Zoe proved the work of a stylist is never done — especially now that she's got a TV show to promote — as she checked out the runway at the Ferragamo show.
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
