The hard-working cast of Gossip Girl was back to work in NYC yesterday before bringing the drama to our TV screens on last night's episode. Blake and her Herve Leger dress stood out as one of the best looks of the night, right down to her gorgeous hair and makeup — and is it just us or are the gadgets playing a bigger role on the series than ever? Seemed like everyone on the show was trying to get their juicy tidbits in to Gossip Girl herself. As for next week, now that Serena is ready to step up to her role as Queen Bee again, that cat fight we were promised can't be too far off.

Kate Bosworth looks gorgeous in her soft, yellow-lit photo shoot for the October issue of Elle Italy. She manages to go glamorous and flower child in the same set of photos, all while showing off her huge grin. While we can't get enough of Kate's everyday style, it's always fun to see her playing up her model side every now and then too.
The Emmys brought out some gorgeous gowns to the red carpet on Sunday, but a few stars got equally fancy for the Metropolitan Opera 125th Season Opening Night Gala in NYC last night. Helena Christensen and Christie Brinkley showed they haven't lost any of their model beauty, while Parker Posey went a little funkier with her big bow. Jenny Humphrey was being bullied at school on last night's episode of Gossip Girl, but in real life Taylor Momsen was looking very grown up and almost unrecognizable in her dramatic red ruffles. While the opera singers were the focus of the night, the ladies in the audience definitely managed to steal a little of the attention away for themselves.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson went to Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills last night after LL's sexy photo shoot. On Sunday, Samantha called in to Loveline to talk about DJ AM and Travis Barker's plane crash, and when LL jumped on the phone, Stryker asked how long she and Samantha had been dating. You can listen to the audio after the jump, but Lindsay answered: "A long, very long time" and thanked him when he said she and Sam make "a lovely couple." Although we've seen these two kissing and read their loving shoutouts, this is the first time they have publicly confirmed their relationship.

We won't be hearing the official release of Britney Spears's new single "Womanizer" today after all — it's been delayed at least a week — but we still get to see more of the pop star on her way into an LA dance studio last night. Last minute remixing aside, there's still work to do for Brit though we know her dancing is looking pretty good these days too. She's been working night and day to get back in shape and hopefully a perfected single and big comeback will make up for tired nights like this one.

Eva Longoria Parker and Tony walked the Emmy red carpet together on Sunday night and Monday they were still side by side. As usual the petite actress looked tiny next to her much taller husband but the talk of the town is still her flowy tops and weight gain for Desperate Housewives — though at least she has a sense of humor about it. At the Emmys she said, "I gained five pounds and it’s like a national scandal." Her athletic pants — and what looks like wine with Posh — may put the rumors to rest for a moment, but with Eva they're never gone for long.
