Paris Hilton stopped to work on her tan at the Portofino Tanning Salon in LA yesterday wearing a shirt covered in her name and image. The heiress is gearing up for the Sept. 30 premiere of her new BFF show and has already released a casting special introducing her potential future besties. With rumors of a new scripted TV show in the works with Ryan Seacrest along with all her many projects, Paris took a break for a little self promotion in an interview. Here are some highlights:

- On the biggest misconception of her: "The one that 'she doesn't work.' I am literally running a huge corporation. I have my clothing lines, my champagne, my watches, shoes and purses and dog clothes — every sort of product you can imagine. I am doing movies. I am doing my record right now, producing, starring in a TV show. So it is a 24 hour, seven day-a-week job. I work all the time, so I laugh when I hear people say that."
- On her privacy: "I am basically always on camera. From the moment I leave my house in the morning, the paparazzi are waiting there until I go to bed at night. So it is natural to be doing this TV show. I don't even know the cameras are there. I still have my private life. When I go home I have my pets and my boyfriend."
- On her future in 20 years: "I'll probably be a mom with a couple of kids. I'd love to have a big family. Running my business and not traveling so much. I'll be in a lot of real estate businesses and hotels then. I'll be running my business from home."
As for her new TV show, it should be interesting to see what kind of people audition to be someone's friend.

Jessica Alba grabbed a snack while Honor observed the scene on a break from a photo shoot in LA yesterday. Jessica looks gorgeous flashing a smile in her casual tank top and kept a protective arm around her daughter. Whether being a new mom has made her happy or if she's just given up on caring about the paparazzi, Jessica seems to be in great spirits. Instead of movies she's throwing herself into causes, so while Jessica used to get a lot of flack on the Internet, it's hard to complain about her behavior these days. Plus, seeing her baby all snuggled up, you can't deny the awww factor.

Renee Zellweger was all smiles and high hair last night at the Academy Theater in Beverly Hills for the premiere of her new movie, Appaloosa. There hasn't been too much buzz about the film, which opened in limited release yesterday — check out the trailer here — but the cast seems like a close bunch. Renee, Viggo Mortensen, and Ed Harris had nothing but kisses and hugs for each other joined by the Cox-Arquettes on the red carpet. Ed directed the movie and said when he met Renee he "fell in love with her." It must have been fun being one of the only girls on set in this western cowboy flick and looks like the actress got some good friends out of the deal.

Isla Fisher and Olive hit the swings again yesterday at the park in LA. The dual redheads looked happy as can be enjoying the end of Summer sun — though, living in LA it's not going far. It's been a pleasure watching the new mama enjoy life with her daughter whether or not Sacha comes along to complete the trio. We're not the only ones appreciating Isla — she's among the women who will be honored at Elle's 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute next month.

The cast of Gossip Girl was back to work in NYC yesterday, with a couple of furry friends to visit with between takes. Both Leighton and Blake were taking care of their adorable dogs, though their on-screen counterparts are too busy partying and scheming to make time for pets. As things continue to heat up for our Upper East Siders, we're already looking forward to seeing the cast make the transition into their fabulous Fall wardrobes — even without their real-life pooches as accessories.
