Jessica Simpson gave it her all last night at the Nina's Night Out Concert at the Palms' Pearl Theater in Las Vegas. The concert raised money for Vegas's Rape Crisis Center, and Jess spoke about being "blessed" to have the opportunity to inspire other women predicting it would be an especially passionate performance given the cause. She also talked about her man, "Tony is a great quarterback, but he's a better boyfriend. . . . I'm seriously proud of myself for letting him into my life." The singer has a lot to be proud of lately — Do You Know debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's country chart! She also debuted at No. 4 on their Top 200 chart, something LL Cool J wasn't too happy about. Jessica is "extremely touched" and "thrilled" by the support of her fans and we are glad to see that she's found her niche.

Britney Spears stopped by Calypso in West Hollywood with her bodyguard yesterday. It's the end of a big bonding week for the Spears women, even while Lynne is making the rounds promoting her book and talking about her daughters. Everything seems to be going positively for Britney, though she's still dealing with some residual legal woes — namely the old driving without a license charge. Her trial is set for October 15, but she still might be able to avoid it. Either way, it won't be long until that is behind her and she can focus on her family, December album release, and getting back to performing.

Jennifer Aniston talked on her hands free device out running errands and attending meetings in LA yesterday. As usual, no one rocks a simple tank top quite like Aniston and this one is particularly special as it, along with her charity necklace, promote Stand Up For Cancer. While people are busy trying to figure out the identity of her Cabo companion, Jennifer just looks happy showing off that tan and looking perfectly casual in her ponytail and baseball cap.

John Lithgow and Katie Holmes stood outside the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre where they smiled and waved to fans.... and protesters. While anti-Scientology protesters held signs, wore masks and chanted "Free Katie," Tom headed inside to watch his wife in the preview performance for All My Sons. Inside the theater the audience welcomed Cruise who posed for pictures, signed autographs and hugged his old costar Dustin Hoffman who was seated a few rows away. Katie looked beautiful in a dress and a wig on stage but more importantly she apparently held her own with theater veterans like John, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson. The crowd rose to their feet twice and upon her exit from the theater Katie was greeted by congrats from fans.

Three out of the fabulous foursome met at the New York Public Library last night to launch Sex and the City on DVD. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall posed and laughed together missing their Charlotte, Kristin Davis. The extended version of the movie hits video stores on Tuesday and the ladies didn't miss the opportunity to throw a party. The soiree was held at the botched marriage location for Carrie in the movie, so it's only appropriate that SJP posed with a dramatic wedding dress. While most of you are excited about the possibility of getting to know younger Carrie, until then it's time to snuggle in and watch their big screen debut again.

Audrina Patridge stepped out smiling in LA alone yesterday, after an exciting and dramatic day. Of course the cameras were there to capture it all as the girls carried props household items and hugged during what Audrina confirmed was her moving day out of the home she has been sharing with Lauren and Lo. Sounds like a perfect season finale, which might also lead to Audrina's own MTV spinoff. Despite the recent teary reconciliation between Audrina and LC, things have been pretty rocky between the girls all year. Sounds like the MTV producers may have found yet another way to keep The Hills girls happy while expanding their presence across the network.
