John Mayer greeted the paparazzi hitting the gym in Soho and then meeting up with some friends at Butter in NYC yesterday. He cracked a smile but seeing photos of Jen in a bikini and hearing the stories of her maybe new man can't be fun. Though, between nights out with friends, those rumored blondes and posting funny videos on his blog, it seems like his all black wardrobe doesn't imply that he's mourning the breakup.

Jessica Alba looked put together with her ruffled bag and starry scarf sprucing up her black ensemble in LA yesterday. She recently put her fashion skills to use designing a Spread the Love T-shirt for a clothing line called 2 LOVE that will donate a portion of the shirt's proceeds to StepUp Women's Network. Between this charity and urging people to vote with her Declare Yourself ad, seems like Jess is ready to become an active role model for baby Honor.

Jennifer Garner and her growing baby bump left a friend's house in LA yesterday before she and Ben head back east to West Virginia to host a University of Charleston fundraiser on Friday night in Jen's hometown. The Hollywood couple is helping to raise money for a new athletic complex and the expected crowd of 800 all paid upwards of $250 for tickets. Jen may have put down new roots with her family in LA, but it's clear that part of her big heart will always belong back home.

Rachel Bilson showed off her preferred bad hair day strategy in a knit cap while out running errands in LA yesterday. Rachel's Edie Rose for DKNY line hits stores this month and Fab has a sneak peek at Rachel talking about her inspiration and a look at all the items. Hopefully she'll do some promotion for the line too, since while we enjoy Bilson out, she always turns it up for the red carpet.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt love their photo ops but yesterday they showed off a sweeter side visiting the Children's Hospital of Orange County during Ryan Seacrest's live broadcast for his radio show. The drama never stops on The Hills, but Heidi got serious talking to Ryan about putting things into perspective and, of course, her relationship with LC. On a possible reconciliation with Lauren:

"Obviously a part of me misses her and that was my best friend and we were very close. It's natural to miss each other. And we were BEST friends, its not like the other friends that we have in our lives. [...] Life is really short and thats what I've said about this thing the whole time. I dont need negative energy and I dont need to be bickering. Theres things like children who are actually sick in the world and important matters — its just such a waste of time to be fighting and angry."

Surprisingly, Heidi sounds sincere and we'll have to wait and see what happens on the show between the ex BFFs. Meanwhile, Heidi's sister Holly alluded to a secret new Montag sister project so it sounds like there's even more Heidi coming our way.
