Lindsay Lohan tried out Samantha's trademark smirk while posing at the Ultimat Vodka Launch in NYC last night, LL's third party of the evening in addition to the Stand Up For a Cure event and Maire Claire bash. After the long night, Lindsay was right back to shooting scenes for Ugly Betty this morning, though the seven-year anniversary of 9/11 was not far from her and Samantha's thoughts. Both girls blogged about it — Lindsay reminding people to take a moment to reflect while Samantha recounted her experience being in NYC during the tragic event.

Jessica Alba had a busy day in NYC yesterday, stopping by the runway at Narciso Rodriguez, taking Honor to look at apartments in Brooklyn, and meeting up with Cash for lunch at L'Express. It looks like something in the city air kept the actress beaming, but the family was on their way out of JFK this morning. You guys had mixed feelings about Jess's dramatic "Declare Yourself" ad, but we think you can all agree it's always a treat to get a peek at cute baby Honor.

The past day was all about the parties along with the clothes at Fashion Week. Eva Mendes — who it's your last chance to submit interview questions for! — was having fun at a bash for La Mer, while a dramatically made up Keira Knightley held court with Anna Wintour at a Cinema Society screening of The Duchess. Liv Tyler was off hosting an event of her own at the Rose Bar and Michelle Trachtenberg joined Vanessa Minnillo at the grand opening of the Target Bodegas. As for the shows, Mena Survari brought her fiance Simone Sestito to Rebecca Taylor today along with Rashida Jones. We're sure to see many more familiar faces as the week heads into its final day tomorrow.

After a weekend of VMA and Fashion Rocks fun, Chris Brown shifted gears from music to movies and got to work on the set of Bone Deep in LA. His girl Rihanna was right there to keep him company on his lunch break. She looked sleek in all black from her hair right down to that hot BlackBerry Bold in her hand. After performing at both big events this weekend, Rih was probably happy to sit back, relax, and settle in with her stack of magazines to watch Chris work.

She joined the ranks of other stylish celebs with her pegged jeans, but made a statement with her vest that was all her own. Pinned to SJP's denim vest was a sign that read "Barack n Roll." We've seen lots of stars endorsing Obama with t-shirts, but leave it to Sarah Jessica to find an original way to show her support through both fashion and fundraising.

Kirsten Dunst spent the last few weeks out on the West Coast, but she was back in NYC yesterday lunching with a friend at Room 18. She may have had a fun fling while spending her Summer on the East Coast, but at this point it sounds like she's getting more serious with Justin Long. According to InTouch, Kirsten even bought him a $1,150 dog tag necklace as a sign of her affection. It seems like a pretty extravagant (and odd?) gift for a new romance — especially since she recently claimed not to know him at all — but we all know that in Hollywood the normal rules don't always apply.

Rachel Bilson had a girls' day with her mother yesterday, stopping at bookstores and trying on jewelry at Cake Boutique in Los Feliz. The budding designer has skipped Fashion Week so far, but she's been keeping busy with her social life. Last weekend Rachel threw a Vegas bachelorette party for Josh Schwartz's fiancee before the possible run-in with Adam Brody at the wedding. We're used to long breaks between seeing Rachel and Hayden together, but Rachel always does just fine independent.
