Javier Bardem mugged for the camera with the help of a paintbrush for a photo shoot in the Fall 2008 Men's Fashion Issue of T Magazine. Almost one year after his award-winning role in No Country For Old Men, Javier is still one of Hollywood's hottest, even though he's admittedly too lazy to do more than one or two movies a year. In the article, he talks about his latest film and how his life has changed over the last year and reveals a few things you never knew about him. Here are highlights:

- On changing things up after No Country For Old Men: "This is the first time in 20 years that I’m playing a leading man in a romantic comedy. It was a conscious decision: in my early career I waited for more complex roles to come, knowing that they might not ever come. The complexity of Chigurh was a kind of dream — the Coen brothers are my favorite directors of all time. On that movie, I was the only foreigner. And Chigurh really comes out of nowhere, which helped with the character, but it was a little isolating. In Vicky Cristina, I’m with these three beauties. I was afraid no one in the audience would believe they’d ever be with me. I was in the makeup trailer saying, 'You better work a miracle.'"
- On loving movies: "I don’t believe in God, but I believe in Al Pacino. The other day I was watching Dog Day Afternoon again, and I see a man who is so true, so interesting and I understand more about the world from his performance. And you go, 'C’mon, it’s only acting.' Well, wouldn’t you say that a good book or a good painting allows you to see the world in a different way? When I see a great performance, I feel more alive."
- On his career: "As a kid, I felt happy onstage, but beforehand I would think, What am I doing here? I should be in the playground with my friends. I’m the same today: we actors are lazy. I like to take a year off between films. Some actors need to work for the money, but money is not a priority for me. I don’t have the need for a lot of cars or houses. Since I am a tomato in the market, I have a price. They have to pay the price, but money is not my biggest priority."

Britney Spears went to check out an apartment in Westwood yesterday, BlackBerry and LV in hand. As we eagerly anticipate her VMA show opener this Sunday, Russell Brand gives us a few hints as to what we can expect. Lynne Spears is also dishing on Britney — although to sell books rather than get laughs revealing intimate details of Brit's childhood and teen years including when she lost her virginity and started experimenting with drugs. Hopefully the upcoming VMAs will keep Britney happily distracted considering her family is once again stirring up drama.

While it's no big secret that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are romantically involved, this photo of the girls sharing an intimate kiss outside the Mercer Hotel in NYC earlier this week is the first pic that openly confirms that the duo are more than just BFFs. From holding hands and nuzzling cheeks to not-so-veiled love proclamations on their blogs, the inseparable duo have all but gone public as a couple. Whether or not they ever talk about it — and really why do they need to? — it's sweet to see Lindsay so happy with someone stable who she seems to really care about and be able to depend on. Aww.

Brad Pitt arrived at the airport in Marseille, France, this morning on his way to tonight's Toronto Film Festival Burn After Reading premiere. He and Angelina just landed at No. 9 on the Vanity Fair 100 as part of The New Establishment, but it looks like he's rolling solo without Angie or any of the kids. It was so much fun to see the boys together in Venice, though we can't blame Clooney (No. 55 on the VF list, by the way) if he skips in order to stay in Europe as long as possible, especially after his exciting Obama fundraiser earlier this week. Seeing Brad and his blinging sunglasses is more than enough especially since we're already so excited to see the movie he's promoting.

The ladies of The Women gathered to premiere their movie last night in LA. While there may be no men credited in the movie itself, a couple of the loving husbands showed up to support the women in their lives. Will Smith always the doting spouse looked proud with Jada by his side while Warren Beatty and Annette Bening were as perfectly regal as ever. Debra Messing, Meg Ryan, Eva Mendes and Debi Mazar all looked gorgeous in their red carpet best as well. While we'll have to see whether this all-star line up of females can score big with the critics or at the box office for the moment it's all smiles and red carpet camaraderie for the ladies.

Lindsay Lohan looked like she could be a sailor in her nautical blue and white stripes in SoHo and later on the set of Ugly Betty joined by Samantha and Dina yesterday. Samantha just got back from a quick trip to Australia where she blogging about missing a certain someone, while LL kept herself busy with work and sharing her political thoughts and music she doesn't like. Speaking of work, Lindsay won't be topless in Playboy anytime soon but her Labor Pains trailer arrived and we're very excited to see her funny on the big screen again. In Lohan family news, Michael is still talking but this time he has only glowing things to say about his family (including Dina!) and that Lindsay will attend his father's nontraditional funeral later this month.
