Britney Spears stepped out in LA last night, while the rest of us were getting excited for her upcoming appearance opening the VMAs on Sunday. We can't wait to see her on stage again, though it looks like she will be right back to fighting another legal battle when the show is over. At her hearing yesterday, the judge wouldn't dismiss her old charge for driving without a license, which means she could go on trial in October. This may not have been the outcome Britney was hoping for, but maybe all she needs are a few cheers from her fans and a finally winning a moonman to get her spirits up again.

Selma Blair took advantage of a day off from filming Kath and Kim with its ridiculous wardrobe to hit the beach in LA with her new guy friend Tuesday. She may not always love her Kath and Kim physique, but Selma still has a rocking bikini body to show off. Plus, it never hurts to have a hot guy around to remind you how great you look — especially if he's already giving out stuffed animals.

After showing some sweet PDA with her man Paul at the US Open on Monday, stripe wearing Cameron headed to the salon with a friend for manicures. She quickly put her newly polished nails to work on her BlackBerry — checking messages from a certain someone in particular? We're big fans of Cameron's when she's rocking her style solo, but there's something about seeing her all loved up that just makes us smile.

Christina Aguilera stepped out of her hotel in NYC yesterday matching Max who was snuggled up to her, with Jordan right behind. She's getting back to career mode with her new fragrance and album, but Christina gives her son credit for making life even sweeter. She recently said, "[He is] amazing, incredible. He just lights up my whole world every day with his laughs and his smiles. I definitely want to expand our family eventually, but for now, Mommy's going to work." Between her rumored VMA appearance and preparing for her album to hit the shelves exclusively at Target, this busy mommy seems ready to step back into the spotlight.
