After a weekend that involved some birthday celebrating, Ben Affleck was ready to face the world with a new age and some new facial scruff to go with it. He grabbed some breakfast with friends at Shutters Hotel in LA, and we have to say that the rugged look is working well for him. Of course, he'll have to clean up before his big trip to the Democratic National Convention next week, since he'll probably want his serious face on for political matters, but once he gets down to business moving into that big fancy new house, casual Ben could make another appearance.

Lindsay Lohan got all dolled up to show off a range of outfits for the inaugural issue of Nylon Korea. We haven't seen LL in many photo shoots recently, but it looks like spending her free time jet-setting with Samantha hasn't affected her ability to strike a pose. In fact, we're such big fans of Samantha's latest photo shoot that maybe even experienced model Lindsay could learn a thing or two from her girl.

Reese Witherspoon was hiking with Ava and Deacon over the weekend, but that didn't stop her from fitting in a little more exercise yesterday afternoon perfectly coordinated in black and pink. Her kids were elsewhere as she went jogging in LA, but once Jake is done filming Prince of Persia she should have her favorite workout buddy back. If Jake's beefy physique is any indication, they're a couple who can clearly bond over their mutual love of fitness.

Kirsten Dunst waited for a car to pick her up in NYC today. Even incognito in her baggy jumpsuit and black hat, those signature green Wayfarers give her away. It seems like Kirsten has been making the most of her Summer in the city; she's picked up a new guy and, according to some, reinvented herself as the queen of downtown Manhattan cool. The season is winding down, but it doesn't look like Kirsten is ready to give up those Summer whites just yet.

Katie Holmes is changing things up with her career these days by preparing for her Broadway debut, and now it looks like Tom is following suit. After possibly signing up for a children's flick, Food Fight, Tom is now working on an adaptation of Sleeper, a DC Comics/Wildstorm comic. Additionally, he is interested in the Spyglass thriller Tourist, making this the third movie he's been connected to recently. Whatever is up next for Tom, hopefully he can ride the critical success of Tropic Thunder, and we can see him and Katie go on more cute dinner celebrations.
